Terms of Service
1. Service
https://voice.fake-guru.com ("Voice Lab") lets you turn text into speech with AI voices, in the browser or via API. The service is operated by Mergim Hajrizaj e.U..
2. Characters
You use the service with prepaid characters. Each generation uses as many characters as the text you submit. The price per character and any volume bonus are shown on the billing page before you pay. Characters are valid for 30 days from the purchase; unused characters expire after that. Failed generations do not use any characters.
3. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for your purchase. By using your characters you request that we start the service immediately; for characters already used the right of withdrawal ends because that part of the service has been fully performed. Within 14 days of a purchase you can request a refund of the unused part of that purchase by contacting us at Discord user assistantxfakeguru.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to create illegal content, content that infringes the rights of others, to impersonate real people without their consent, or for content intended to deceive, harass or defraud. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules. You are responsible for the content you create and how you use it.
5. API keys
Keep your API key secret. All usage made with your key is charged to your characters. You can create a new key at any time.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Voices, models and their capabilities may change.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.
8. Law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory protection rules of their country of residence remain unaffected.
